The Kaduna explosion came just days after a similar incident in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, where a devastating explosion on Tuesday evening resulted in the deaths of at least five individuals and injured 77 others.

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, visited the scene of the incident and commiserated with the victims and their families.

He also promised to provide relief materials and financial assistance to the affected persons.

The governor also ordered an investigation into the cause of the explosion and vowed to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the state.

The two explosions have raised concerns over the safety and security of Nigerians, especially in the face of the rising insecurity and violence in different parts of the country.
