Controversial street pop singer Habeeb Olalomi, widely known as Portable, has encountered significant backlash and a sharp decline in his Instagram following after making contentious comments about the ongoing protests in Nigeria.
In a viral video, Portable asserted that no protests were happening in his hometown of Sango, Ogun State.
He criticized the demonstrations, suggesting that participants were “bad people” who deserved the very outcomes they were protesting against.

He noted that previous protests had been ignored by the government, prompting him and others in his area to focus on their daily lives instead.
