About 17,000 Nigerians Killed Under Tinubu—Security Analyst Reveals Disturbing Insecurity Toll

At least 17,000 people have been killed in insecurity-related incidents since Tinubu assumed office two years ago, according to security analyst Kabir Adamu.Adamu, CEO of Beacon Security and Intelligence Limited, disclosed the figure during an interview with Arise TV, noting that Nigeria has witnessed a staggering level of violence under the current administration.

“About 17,000 insecurity-related deaths have occurred during President Tinubu’s two years administration,” Adamu said during the programme.

Benue State ranks fifth on the national chart with approximately 1,098 deaths recorded, while Borno State remains the deadliest zone, with over 3,800 deaths in the same period. Comparing the figures with the previous administration, Adamu observed that the final two years of Buhari’s presidency also crossed the 17,000 death mark.

“On the last two years of Buhari era, it is a little above the 17,000 mark. It has been a bloodbath,” he said.
