Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has expressed his determination to rescue Nigeria from its current economic challenges.
Speaking during a visit to the Osun State party secretariat, represented by a three-man delegation led by Dr. Rahila Mukhtar, Kwankwaso reaffirmed his party’s commitment to delivering the masses from hardship.
Kwankwaso highlighted the need to strengthen state chapters of the party to ensure effective administration as part of efforts to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
He emphasised that the NNPP remains focused on its opposition role and is mobilizing efforts to secure future political victories.
“Nigerians have so far realised that various leaders we have been having are intentionally using poverty to improvise citizens to cajole them again in 2027 with crumbs. I will not deceive them but rescue the country from the present quagmire.
“NNPP, as a party, have good intentions for the masses. We have started mobilising people all over. We are equipping our state secretariats and we are also providing them with vehicles to ease their movement,” Kwankwaso said in a statement issued by the Osun State Party Chairman, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi.

The visit aimed to boost the party’s activities across states, with Kwankwaso noting his satisfaction with reports from various states, particularly Osun, and pledging to equip party secretariats with necessary resources, including vehicles, to support their work.
Osun NNPP Chairman Dr. Odeyemi praised Kwankwaso for prioritizing the welfare of the people and vowed to continue efforts to strengthen the party’s influence in the state.
