Abia State Governor Alex Otti has expressed confidence that the 2027 elections will be smoother for him than his previous campaigns.
Speaking at the 2025 Aro Day celebration in Arochukwu Local Government Area, Otti said he is not worried about the polls, noting that the achievements of his administration since assuming office would speak for themselves.
He emphasised that he would not be selling promises to the people, but would instead showcase tangible results that residents can already see.
“2027 is still far away, yet many people are already causing themselves stress over it,” Otti said.
“We are not worried about 2027 because we have a mandate to deliver to our people over the next four years.

We have completed 30 months, so there is still a long way to go,” he added.
The governor further stated, “Just as it was in 2023, 2027 will be even smoother. Why am I confident? In 2023, we were selling promises, but now we have one or two concrete achievements we can point to.”
