Israeli journalist and digital aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hananya Naftali, has raised alarm over the escalating wave of Christian persecution in Nigeria, describing it as a full-blown genocide.
Naftali, who made the remarks in a post on X, cited recent data indicating that Nigeria accounts for 70% of all Christians killed worldwide, warning that the scale and severity of attacks have reached an alarming level.

According to him, more than 25 Christians were brutally murdered within the last two weeks, allegedly by Fulani terrorists.
Naftali stated that entire villages are being wiped out, churches burned, and communities terrorised simply because of their faith.
Despite the magnitude of the crisis, he lamented that the international community has remained largely silent, failing to acknowledge what he described as an ongoing genocide.
His comments add to growing global concern about religious violence in Nigeria, where Christian organisations and human rights groups continue to call for stronger action and protection from the government.
