A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima has stated that the All Progressive Congress, APC is sending emissaries into different political parties and offering them tens of billions of naira.
Galadima made this known during an interview program on Arise TV on Tuesday.
He stated that the emissaries go about promising all political parties to aligning with the agenda of the present government so that in 2027, there would be no candidate.
He remarked that APC are trying to destroy and remove political parties. Highlighted PDD, LP, APGA as some of the parties which has been decimated while emphasizing that his part NNPP cannot be decimated because they are smart. He further warned that the day of reckoning (2027 election) is coming for APC.
His words,”Have you asked Nigerians on the street whether there is equity in what is happening in Nigeria today.
“The day of reckoning is coming in 2027, I don’t believe in zoning and i said that because i was a member of the constituent assembly in 1987, member of the constitution conference in 1994.So I should know better. We polmulgated and we designed this constitution so I know every letter of it and why that is there.
“The issue that are of importance is to whether there is going to be a vacancy in 2027 and i want to tell you that there is no amount of intimidation by anybody even amount of killing by anybody that can stop Nigerians from producing an alternative presidential candidate to run and I want to say that Nigeria should know that we know it’s of today that this government in APC are sending emissaries to compromise leaders of political parties in offering tens of billions to leaders of parties.
“They’re promising all political parties to aligning with the agenda of the present government so that in 2027, there would be no candidate and you can see how they are trying to decimate political parties.
“They’ve decimated PDP to the ground, they’ve decimated Labour Party, they’ve decimated APGA. They can’t decimate NNPP because we’re too smart for them.Of course, they’re trying to destabilize Kano, everyday because that is their nightmare, Kwankwaso is their nightmare,”he added.
