The Chief of Army Staff, Olufemi Oluyede, has issued a stern warning to bandits, terrorists, and other criminals to leave Nigeria, declaring that the Nigerian Army under his command is coming with full force.

Mr. Oluyede made this statement on Wednesday during his first operational visit to the 1 Division Nigerian Army troops in Kaduna.

He assured that adversaries would face a more determined and formidable army.

The Army Chief revealed that he formalized his command philosophy on December 10, emphasizing leadership, sound administration, and professionalism as its pillars.

He also highlighted that prioritizing the welfare of soldiers is central to his approach, noting that a well-catered-for army is better equipped to eliminate threats and secure the nation.

“I will try as much as possible to enhance their welfare in terms of accommodation, kitting and training so that they can be better soldiers,” Mr Oluyede said.
