Bola Tinubu has shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari in honor of his 82nd birthday, recognizing his lasting contributions to Nigeria’s development.
In a message posted on Tuesday, Tinubu praised Buhari’s unwavering commitment to the nation, describing him as a leader whose service and resilience have played a key role in Nigeria’s progress.
“On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you on your 82nd birthday,” Tinubu wrote, acknowledging Buhari’s journey of persistence in contesting presidential elections in 2003, 2007, and 2011 before finally winning in 2015 and 2019.
Reflecting on Buhari’s legacy, Tinubu also commended him for his leadership in pioneering Nigeria’s first All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
