Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that he has no regrets about the removal of the fuel subsidy, despite the economic hardships that have followed the decision.
Speaking during a media chat in Lagos, Tinubu described the removal of the subsidy as the only pathway to securing the nation’s prosperity.
He emphasised that the decision was made with the future of coming generations in mind.
The fuel subsidy was officially removed in May 2023, a move announced during Tinubu’s inauguration.
