‘You Were Governor for Eight Years in Rivers, Looted the State Dry, Yet Couldn’t Build Single School Where Your Children Could Earn Master’s Degree in Law’—Sowore Knocks Wike

Human rights activist and convener of #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, has blasted the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following his celebration of his son’s graduation in the United Kingdom.

Sowore while reacting to Wike’s social media post on his (Wike) son’s graduation in the UK blasted the minister for having served as a Minister of Education in Nigeria for four years but could not build a school good enough for his children to study over here in Nigeria.

He blasted Wike for also having served as Rivers State Governor for eight years, a state Sowore described as the Nigeria’s wealthiest state, served as a local government chairman for two terms and is currently serving as the FCT minister but could not build a good school in Rivers State. Sowore described Wike as “a crying shame.”

As a father, I am happy for the progress Jordan is making in the pursuit of his career.”
