Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has condemned the power brokers in Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing them as more dangerous and sophisticated than those in the government of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today program, Dalung stated that the cabals in Buhari’s administration were less effective in manipulating the government due to their lack of education and experience in governance.
He explained, “Buhari’s cabals were not quite informed, with little experience in politics, public administration, and governance.”
However, Dalung characterised Tinubu’s cabals as well-educated, ambitious, and highly knowledgeable about power dynamics. He referred to them as “masters” of influence, noting their extensive history in governance.
Dalung also expressed concerns about the influence of cabals in Nigerian politics, warning that their dominance presents significant challenges to good governance and accountability.
