Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering it by N65 from N890 to N825 per litre, effective February 27, 2025.
As a result, petrol will now sell for N860 per litre at MRS Holdings outlets in Lagos, while prices in other regions will vary. In the South-West, the price will be N870 per litre, while in the North, it will cost N880. Consumers in the South-South and South-East will purchase the product at N890 per litre.
Similarly, at AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations, petrol will sell for N865 per litre in Lagos, N875 in the South-West, N885 in the North, and N895 in the South-South and South-East.

The refinery stated that the price reduction aims to provide economic relief to Nigerians ahead of the Ramadan season.
This marks the second fuel price reduction in February 2025, following an earlier N60 cut. In December 2024, Dangote Refinery had also lowered PMS prices by N70.50 during the yuletide period.
The company assured the public of a steady supply of petroleum products and urged marketers to support the initiative to ensure that Nigerians benefit fully from the price adjustment.
