Ramadan: Nigerians Suffering, Going Through Hard Time, Provide Palliatives – Atiku Tells Govt

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged Muslims across Nigeria to embrace the holy month of Ramadan as a time for charity, compassion, and prayers for the nation’s advancement.

In a statement marking the start of Ramadan, Atiku highlighted the significance of generosity, encouraging Nigerians to extend their support beyond their immediate families.

“The lifestyle of the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should be our guide, as he taught us the immense benefits of being generous, especially during the month of Ramadan,” he said.

The former vice president also highlighted the economic hardship facing Nigerians and urged governments at all levels to take concrete steps to ease the burden on citizens.

“Nigerians are passing through harsh economic situations, and it is necessary that governments provide palliatives to support the people and alleviate their living conditions,” Atiku stated.
