Human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong has criticized Bola Tinubu for denying being a bigot.
Effiong stated that his denial is irrelevant as it is obvious he got to the position of presidency by being a bigot.
Recall that on March 14, Tinubu confessed that he is not a religious bigot during a meeting with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

“This insecurity affects everyone—Christians, Muslims alike. I have no religious bias; I won’t be a bigot. My wife is a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church,” Tinubu said.
Reacting to his statement, Effiong in a post on his official X handle mocked Tinubu for denying being a bigot under the pretext of his wife being a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, headed by Pastor Adeboye.

His post reads,”President Tinubu used bigotry to get to the presidency and is now denying being a bigot because according to him, his wife, who has expressed bigoted views in the past, is a pastor in RCCG. LOL.”
