Oby Ezekwesili Hails NYSC Member Raye, Calls for More Courageous Youth in Nigeria

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has called for Nigeria to produce more bold and outspoken youth like Raye, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving in Lagos.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Ezekwesili commended Raye’s courage in evaluating and rating Nigeria’s political and public leaders on a scale from “Terrible” to “Terrific.”

She emphasized the importance of youth voices in governance and concluded her message with a hopeful “Amen.

Her statement, which read, “May Nigeria produce more daughters and sons like the bold Youth Corp member of @officialnyscng – Raye – who know and courageously use the Power of their Voice to evaluate and give a score of between Terrible and Terrific to our Political and Public Leaders. Amen,” explains her belief in youth-led accountability.
