JUST IN: Appeal Court Upholds Uba Sani’s Victory in Kaduna , Francis Nwifuru’s Election in Ebonyi

Kaduna

The Abuja Division of the Appeal Court has upheld the election of Uba Sani as the duly elected Governor of Kaduna State.

This comes after the Kaduna State governorship election petition tribunal previously nullified Governor Sani’s election victory.

The legal challenge was initiated by Isah Ashiru, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who contested Sani’s victory in court.

However, the Appeal Court’s decision on Friday affirms the legitimacy of Governor Sani’s election.

In a parallel case, a different division of the Court of Appeal in Lagos has also affirmed the election of Francis Nwifuru as the Governor of Ebonyi State.

The three-man panel delivered the judgment on Friday, cementing Nwifuru’s position as the duly elected leader of Ebonyi State.

These court rulings mark crucial developments in the political landscape, providing clarity and legal validation to the electoral outcomes in both Kaduna and Ebonyi States.
