Renowned investigative journalist David Hundeyin, through his X platform has brought attention to the demolition of Igbo-owned buildings in Lekki allegedly orchestrated by Tinubu’s land grabbers.

Hundeyin warned that those showing tacit approval for the demolition of Igbo-owned properties in Lekki may find themselves without sympathy when similar incidents occur in areas like Obalende and Ojuelegba.

According to Hundeyin, these land grabbers have reportedly harbored ambitions for these locations, and the recent demolitions in Lekki may set a precedent for further actions.

He stated, “the people who are secretly happy to watch Tinubu’s land grabbers demolishing Igbo-owned buildings in Lekki should not expect any sympathy when Obalende and Ojuelegba enter it.

“These land grabbers have long had their eyes on those places. Now they have precedent,” Hundeyin concluded.
