Real Madrid entered the match trailing Girona by two points but wasted no time asserting their dominance as Brazilian forward Rodrygo notched an early lead.
The 22-year-old dynamo extended Real’s advantage midway through the second half.
Bellingham, the 20-year-old England midfielder, continued to make waves in Madrid, sealing the deal with his remarkable 11th goal in just 12 La Liga appearances since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund.
The Birmingham City youth product played a pivotal role in the opening goal, delivering a precise pass to Rodrygo, who skillfully navigated a seemingly impassable situation inside the penalty area before unleashing a top-corner finish.

Despite losing Vinicius Jr to injury during the international break, Real found solace in the stellar performance of Rodrygo, who achieved a milestone by scoring in three consecutive games for the first time since joining from Santos in 2019.
In the second half, Luka Modric’s low strike narrowly missed finding the net, striking the foot of the post. Shortly afterward, he played a crucial role in setting up Rodrygo for his second goal, as the Brazilian expertly cut inside before finding the far post.
Rodrygo then turned provider for Bellingham, laying off the ball in the left channel for the English midfielder to deliver a sublime left-footed strike, securing Real Madrid’s third consecutive victory and reaffirming their dominance in La Liga.
