Ademola Lookman has resumed first-team training with Atalanta after holding a decisive meeting with head coach Ivan Juric on Thursday morning.
Reports from Italy, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, confirmed that the Nigerian forward rejoined the squad on September 18, marking his first session since he was frozen out in August.

Lookman had been sidelined after pushing for a summer move to Serie A rivals Inter Milan, a bid that was firmly rejected by Atalanta.

Sources revealed that he met Juric in private before training and later spoke to his teammates, admitting he had faced a “tough summer” but stressing his renewed commitment to the club’s objectives.
The 26-year-old has not yet featured in a competitive fixture for Atalanta this season, but his return puts him in contention for selection.
Reports suggest he could be named in the squad for Sunday’s Serie A clash with Torino, as Atalanta look to respond to their 4–0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Lookman was among Atalanta’s standout performers last season, and his comeback is expected to provide a significant lift as the club seeks consistency both domestically and in Europe.
