Emeka Ogbu, the President of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA), has passed away.
The news was disclosed by Professor Mohammed Bawa, currently serving as the Acting President of NUGA, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday.
Ogbu, who also held the position of Director of Sports at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), succumbed to a brief illness on Monday.

Having assumed the presidency in March 2022, his untimely demise has created a significant void in the leadership of the Association.
