‘Be Ready for War, Wike Determined to Remove you’ – Primate Ayodele Warns Fubara

The Spiritual Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has forewarned Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State to be prepared for the unfolding political face-off with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike

The warning comes in the wake of a heated confrontation between Governor Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

Primate Ayodele drew attention to the potential consequences of this political clash, likening Governor Fubara’s situation to that of the former governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

The spiritual leader emphasized the need for Governor Fubara to brace himself for challenges on the political front.

Despite the ominous forecast, Primate Ayodele assured Governor Fubara that he would weather any attempts at impeachment.

The spiritual leader urged the governor to turn to divine intervention, emphasizing that only God could navigate him through the impending political storm.

In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele highlighted the crucial role of seeking divine guidance in Governor Fubara’s current predicament.

The statement underscored the belief that divine intervention could influence Minister Nyesom Wike’s decisions, potentially altering the course of events and thwarting any impeachment attempts against Governor Fubara.

According to Ayodele, “Only God can change Wike’s mind towards Governor Sim Fubara. He should get his mind prepared that his second-term ambition will be tough. It’s going to be like the issue of former governor Akinwummi Ambode in Lagos.

“He will still face impeachment, but I see him surviving it. The house will continue to be troubled. They will make him uncomfortable and make his first term miserable, but he will survive it if he turns to God for help.”

The clergyman cautioned the governor to be careful of moles in his camp as there wouldn’t be any rest to ensure he gets removed from office.

“There is no amount of what he does; it is only God that can fight for him. There will be so many moles in his camp. It’s unfortunate that this is happening at a time when Fubara is willing to work.

“They won’t appreciate his efforts and they will want to mess him up. Those who are against his governorship will also add to it. The governor must be careful, put his security together, and be very prayerful,” he added.

Wike and Fubara experienced a rift within six months of the succession. Wike’s supporters in the Rivers House of Assembly initiated impeachment proceedings against Fubara, but the governor pledged to oppose any such efforts.

In a recent statement addressing their discord, Wike accused the governor of setting fire to the state House of Assembly. The minister also labeled the governor an ingrate.
