Chief Segun Osoba, a former governor of Ogun has revealed reason Nigerians should not blame Femi Adesina for defending former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Osoba made this statement during the launch of ‘A Peep into the Past,’ a memoir and collection of articles by former Nigerian Tribune Editor, Sir Folu Olamiti.
Adesina, who served as the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Buhari from 2015 to 2023, was present at the event.
Osoba noted that as a spokesperson, Adesina’s role is to defend his principal whether he has done good or bad.

He stated, “Don’t blame Femi Adesina for defending Buhari’s work. His job is to defend him whether you like Buhari or not.
“His job is to defend him and he made a good job of it,” he added.
