The Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) officially embraced Senators Ifeanyi Ubah and Uche Ekwunife, along with their supporters. The senators, who joined the APC on October 12, 2023, were warmly received by the state chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, and Senator Andy Ubah.
Ejidike, acknowledging the potential influence of the newcomers, emphasized the need for commitment, stating, “The year 2025 affords us yet another opportunity to contest and win Anambra State Government House.” He urged members to unite towards this goal, leveraging the available manpower and resources.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, addressing the gathering, declared an end to the APC’s silence in Anambra, asserting, “All Progressives Congress has finally arrived in Anambra State.” He expressed readiness for debate, challenging the status quo. Senator Uche Ekwunife, appreciative of the warm reception, pledged to contribute to the party’s growth in the state.
The APC members, while welcoming the newcomers, stressed the importance of internal harmony. Ejidike echoed this sentiment, stating, “I enjoin the new members not to fail to sustain their dogged and positive humanitarian spirits.”
