In an unfortunate incident, Idris Dahiru, a resident of Tudun Biri in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has reported the loss of 34 family members due to an aerial bombardment by the Nigerian Army on Sunday evening.
Daily Trust has documented that over 90 villagers lost their lives during the Nigerian Army’s drone attack on a gathering of residents commemorating Maulud. The army, however, expressed regret for the bombing, asserting that it was targeted at terrorists.
Narrating the harrowing experience, Dahiru stated, “Our annual Maulud celebration was shattered by unexpected airstrikes. The first bomb exploded without warning, claiming the lives of innocent people, including women and children. Some victims were torn apart by the blast,” as reported by BBC Hausa.

“As we rushed to aid the injured, the jet returned, unleashing a second bomb. This time, many of those who had come to help became casualties themselves. My family alone has lost 34 members in this tragedy, and we have 66 loved ones currently receiving medical care at Barau Dikko hospital,” he added. #Kaduna
