In the aftermath of the unintentional killing of numerous civilians in an airstrike conducted by the Nigerian Army in the Agabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has staunchly declared that this tragic incident will not deter the ongoing battle against insurgency and terrorism.

During his visit to the victims of the airstrike on Wednesday, Minister Matawalle, accompanied by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Kana, led a high-level delegation to convey the Federal Government’s sympathies to those affected.

Henshaw Ogubike, the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, disclosed in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja that Minister Matawalle, while deploring the unfortunate event, emphasized the unwavering commitment to the fight against insurgency and terrorism.
