In a recent post on his X page, Mr. Peter Obi, expressed his admiration for two influential Nigerian women who have made significant strides on the global stage. Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, and Mo Abudu, a renowned media entrepreneur and philanthropist, were recently named among the ‘world’s 100 most powerful women in 2023’ by Forbes, a leading US business magazine.
Dr. Okonjo-Iweala was particularly highlighted as the Most Powerful Woman in Africa, according to the ranking. Mo Abudu also received recognition for her substantial contributions to media and entertainment in Africa and beyond.
Obi extended his congratulations to both women for their achievements and the global recognition they have received. As they continue to ascend the ladder of success, he urges them to persist in inspiring, motivating, and encouraging the younger generation to uphold the values of hard work and discipline. He believes that these values are key to achieving genuine and legitimate success in life.
