American rapper and singer, Durk Derrick Banks, popularly known as Lil Durk, has announced intentions to organize a complimentary ‘free’ concert in Nigeria as a way to make up for missing a scheduled event in Lagos this December.
Taking to his X handle on Saturday morning, the ‘All My Life’ artist clarified that his absence at the December event was not within his control. Expressing his affection for Nigeria, Lil Durk pledged to host a “free” concert in the country in the near future.

In his statement, he said, “I got to make the show up for free for Nigeria even if it ain’t my fault (that I didn’t show up for the December event). Y’all my family, I got y’all 4ever.”
Lil Durk enjoys a devoted following, particularly among Nigerian youths, especially those belonging to Generation Z. His recent track, ‘All My Life,’ featuring J.Cole, swiftly climbed to the number one spot on Apple Music Nigeria within 24 hours of its release.
