In a surprising turn of events, Nigerian music sensation, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly called Bella Shmurda has declared his departure from the music scene.

The ‘Cash App’ hitmaker expressed his decision to focus on a new venture as a TikTok influencer, citing the platform’s lucrative opportunities.

In a viral TikTok video, Bella Shmurda made it clear that he no longer wishes to continue his musical journey, stating, “I don’t want to sing anymore. I want to be doing TikTok. There is a lot of money on TikTok. Henceforth, I will be doing strictly TikTok.”

Bella Shmurda gained widespread recognition in 2019 with the release of his breakout track ‘Vision 2020’ and a subsequent remix featuring renowned rapper Olamide.

Despite being nominated for the Next Rated Award at The Headies 2020, he narrowly missed out on the honor, losing to Omah Lay.
