In a ceremony held in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, Governor Yahaya Bello presented 40 SUVs and Hilux vans to judges and lawmakers over the weekend.
This gesture aimed to enhance the mobility and efficiency of the state’s legal and legislative arms.
Governor Bello’s generosity extended beyond the judiciary and legislature, as he also distributed 25 ambulances to various local government areas, tertiary institutions, and fire-fighting vans to the state’s Fire Service.

The allocation of ambulances is expected to bolster healthcare services at the grassroots level and improve emergency response capabilities.
These actions come at a time when Nigeria grapples with economic hardships and food insecurity.
