Veteran artist Daddy Showkey says that he has been getting death threats ever since he talked about how singer IleriOluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, died.
During an online interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Daddy Showkey said that Mohbad’s death was not a one-off and that influential people in the music business and society as a whole may have been involved.
When he went on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram live session a second time a few days later, the “Galala” Ghetto singer said that government officials have been threatening him since he talked about Mohbad’s fate before.
He said, “Daddy Freeze, do you know that I got a lot of death threats after my last talk with you? Do you know that after that talk, even government officials tried to hurt me?
“I told them they should go watch your talk. Did I say something wrong? What am I getting at? I’m telling the real story.
“You’d never believe what happened to me. I didn’t get any sleep at all that night. They were just making threats.
“Daddy Freeze, I don’t know what you’re going through with all these things you’re doing. Because of the threats they made against me, I came to ask, “What of you?”
