Jose Peseiro, the coach of the Super Eagles, has released his final 25-man team for the upcoming African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire. The tournament is set to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The Nigerian team, aiming for its fourth championship, will compete in Group A with Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Peseiro had previously released a provisional 40-man squad in early December, which included three goalkeepers from the local league.
In the final selection announced on Friday, Peseiro included Victor Osimhen, the African Footballer of the Year, team captain Ahmed Musa, and Stanley Nwabili, the goalkeeper from Chippa United.
