Top brass of Nigeria’s Security military and key government officials have arrived Jos, Plateau State, in response to the recent wave of terrorist attacks that has gripped the region.
The Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Defense Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Minister of Defense, and Minister for Humanitarian Affairs were reported to have arrived in Plateau State simultaneously, marking the first instance since the 1980s that all Service Chiefs have convened in Jos to address a security crisis.

The purpose of their visit is to assess the prevailing situation, with the residents keenly awaiting the proposed strategies and interventions aimed at restoring security and peace in the “Home of Peace and Tourism”, following recent terror attacks.
