On Saturday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning to Bola Tinubu, urging him to prioritize the issue of insecurity in Nigeria. The spiritual leader foresaw the emergence of a new syndicate involving terrorists, kidnappers, and bandits in the country.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele emphasized that failure to address insecurity promptly could lead to the kidnapping of prominent individuals in the nation, further escalating tensions within the current administration.
“The president needs to take insecurity and economic hardship very seriously. Top personalities will still be kidnapped, and I foresee a new syndicate of bandits, terrorists, and kidnappers coming up,” warned Ayodele.
The prophet implored Tinubu to take decisive action, attributing the rising insecurity to enemies of the government. Ayodele cautioned that if not properly addressed, insecurity could extend to the point of targeting high-ranking officials, potentially worsening the current state of the government.
“Insecurity will cause tension in the country. Tinubu should do the needful because those causing it are his enemies. It will go to the extent of attacking top officials; it can worsen this government if care isn’t taken. He needs to go to the root of it and checkmate every aspect of it,” added Ayodele.
Additionally, the spiritual leader urged Tinubu to tackle the issues of hardship, restructuring, and poverty as integral measures to curb insecurity in the nation.
“It will extend to everywhere; it is not just about the service chiefs but addressing the causes of insecurity. Restructuring is part of it, hardship is part of it, poverty is part of it. He should address all of these before it causes tension,” he advised.
