Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr, also known as Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, has expressed unwavering confidence in clinching a victory at the 66th Grammys.
The Mavin Records artist, whose track ‘Rush’ earned a nomination in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, disclosed in a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria that she has meticulously crafted her acceptance speech for the prestigious award.
Stating that her speech is lengthy owing to the significance of being in the first-ever African category, Ayra Starr revealed her readiness for the upcoming ceremony.
Ayra Starr stated, “I have my Grammys speech ready. It is quite long because it is the first African category. I already know my walk, my outfit,” she added.

The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in Los Angeles.
In the face of stiff competition from notable contenders, including Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake and Olamide’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys,’ and Tyla’s ‘Water,’ Ayra Starr remains optimistic about securing the accolade.
