Aisha Yesufu, a prominent Nigerian activist and co-convener of the “Bring Back Our Girls” movement, has launched a scathing attack on Bola Tinubu and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), on her X page.
In a series of tweets, she accused Tinubu of rigging the 2023 presidential election and presenting a fake diploma from Chicago State University (CSU) to the electoral body.
She also claimed that Tinubu is overseeing the “rape of the judiciary” and that Nigeria is in “evil hands”.
Yesufu’s tweets flashed the minds of Nigerians back to the controversial 2023 presidential election that was contested at the tribunal and later the Supreme Court which upheld Tinubu’s victory despite resounding evidence of election malpractices presented by the opposition parties.
Also, her tweets recalled the alleged false Chicago State University (CSU) diploma certificate submitted to INEC by Tinubu.

Yesufu, who supported Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 election echoed her assertions on the allegations and called Tinubu an illegitimate president.
She wrote: “How can a man who rigged election and presented fake certificate said not to be an illegitimate president?
“I have no fear either for my political future or present. My greatest fear is for Nigeria and Nigerians. Nigeria is in the wrong hands. More accurately, Nigeria is in evil hands!
“Tinubu is now the one overseeing the rape of the judiciary.”
Tinubu and his party have not responded to Yesufu’s tweets, but they have previously dismissed the allegations of election rigging and certificate forgery as baseless and desperate attempts by the opposition to discredit Tinubu and his mandate.
