Kashim Shettima Sets Off from Abuja to Abidjan to Boost Support for Nigeria in AFCON Semi-final Against South Africa.

Kashim Shettima, accompanied by his spokesperson Stanley Nkwocha, has embarked on a journey from Abuja to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to amplify support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their upcoming semi-final clash against South Africa.

Nkwocha conveyed that Shettima’s visit to Côte d’Ivoire was initiated by Tinubu, aiming to reinforce the intrinsic link between football and national identity in Nigeria.

He emphasized that Shettima’s presence would not only serve to inspire the Super Eagles on the field but also unite millions of Nigerians cheering from home.

“This being their 15th appearance in the semi-finals, Nigeria holds the record for the most appearances at this stage. They are poised to replicate their triumph of 2013 when they lifted the trophy in South Africa.”
