VIDEO: Sunday Igboho Begs FG to Release Nnamdi Kanu

Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho has implored the Federal Government to promptly release Nnamdi Kanu, the prominent leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Igboho’s impassioned plea, disseminated through a widely circulated video shared by X_Daily on Tuesday, coincided with Kanu’s ongoing trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Kanu, who made his court appearance on Monday, February 26, 2024, for the first time since a Supreme Court ruling on December 15, 2023, has remained in custody since June 2021.

Igboho stressed Kanu’s innocence and urged an end to political maneuvers, asserting that Kanu deserves release to be reunited with his family. In the video message, Igboho stated, “Release Nnamdi Kanu. Cease the political games. This individual is innocent. Today is February 27, 2024. Set him free to be with his family.”
