Anthony Joshua secured his fourth consecutive victory by delivering a second-round knockout against Cameroonian boxer Francis Ngannou in the headline event of the “Knockout Chaos” card held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Following triumphs in 2023 over Jermaine Franklin in April and Robert Helenius with a seventh-round knockout in August, Joshua clinched a fifth-round technical knockout victory over Otto Wallin in December.
Despite Wallin’s reputation as a challenging southpaw opponent, Joshua dominated the match.
Joshua’s recent wins include triumphs over two fighters, Wallin and Ngannou, who previously took Tyson Fury the distance in their bouts.
Ngannou’s past performance, particularly his knockdown of Fury in their previous encounter, led many fans to believe he could stage an upset against Joshua.

However, Joshua defied expectations, displaying superior boxing skills over Ngannou throughout the brief two-round bout, fulfilling his promise of making a statement with a knockout victory within five minutes.
Following the match, Ngannou required medical attention and received oxygen in his corner after being knocked out.
In the post-match conference, Joshua expressed his eagerness to face the winner of the Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk bout for a chance to reclaim the world heavyweight titles.
