Ramadan: Tinubu Shifts Responsibility, Asks Wealthy Nigerians to Feed Poor, Less Privileged

Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged affluent individuals to extend a helping hand to the less privileged Nigerians, especially during this month of Ramadan.

Speaking in Kano on Sunday, Tinubu commended Senator Abdullahi Yari for donating 140 truckloads of rice to support those in need, emphasising the critical importance of collective responsibility in leadership.

Represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Tinubu expressed gratitude for the generous donation and highlighted its potential to alleviate the hardships faced by many during this period.

The 140 trucks, bearing Tinubu’s name and picture, are set to distribute 84,000 bags of 50kg rice to at least 500,000 households in the North.

Underlining the significance of unity and collaboration for Nigeria’s progress, Tinubu called on Nigerians to join hands in helping the vulnerable and to pray for the country’s unity, peace, and prosperity throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
