A section of the female student’s hotel of the University of Benin was on Tuesday engulfed by fire.
According to an X user, Ruth Nifemi, who shared a video on her handle, the flame destroyed some documents and property at the Hall 2 hostel of the university.
In her post, it reads, “Hall 2 UNIBEN is on burn and fire service came without water“ The entire room with documents burnt down”

At the time of filing this report, the cause of the flame is yet to be ascertained.
