Italian giant Napoli lost at home to Fiorentina in a disappointing game that ended 3-1 in favor of the visitors. Nigerian Victor Osimhen’s equalizer wasn’t enough to save Napoli on Sunday night.
Stadio Diego Armando Maradona Stadium was put into shambles on Sunday after conceding three goals to visiting Fiorentina. Goals from Josip Brekalo, G. Bonaventura, and a late goal from Nicolas Gonzalez were enough to trash Victor Osimhen’s 1-1 equalizer goal in the 45th minute.
The hosts, under head coach Rudi Garcia, have now lost two consecutive home games in all competitions following a heavy 3-2 loss to Real Madrid on October 3rd. Today’s loss makes it two losses in the Seria A season.
They now sit fifth after gathering 14 points in eight games with AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Fiorentina ahead of the Naples side in the Italian Seria A , respectively.
