Aisha Galadima, a female politician and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, was allegedly apprehended on Sunday by security personnel suspected to be operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The alleged arrest was reportedly linked to a critical social media post about the state governor, Uba Sani.
Sources indicate that Galadima criticized Sani’s recent remarks about the former governor of the state, Nasir El-Rufai, in a post on her Facebook page.

A neighbor reported that she was apprehended in her community in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna on Sunday afternoon, while another friend mentioned that Galadima’s phone was turned off following the arrest.
However, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, said he was not aware of the arrest and directed inquiries about the matter to the DSS for further clarification.
“I’m not aware that a woman was arrested for posting a negative comment against His Excellency. In any case, you should direct your enquiries to the DSS, not the Kaduna State Government,” he said.VERIFIED: It is now possible to live in Nigeria and earn salary in US Dollars with premium domains, you can earn as much as $12,000 (₦18 Million).Click here to start.
