Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has criticized the behavior of his players during a heated exchange over a penalty kick in their 6-0 victory against Everton.
The incident occurred during the match at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea’s Cole Palmer scored four goals.
The dispute arose when Palmer was awarded a penalty kick, with Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke also vying to take the spot kick. Despite Palmer being designated as the penalty taker, Jackson and Madueke attempted to snatch the ball from him, leading to a tense confrontation on the pitch.
The altercation marred what was otherwise a dominant performance by Chelsea, with Palmer’s fourth goal extending their lead to 5-0.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Pochettino expressed his disappointment, stating, It’s a shame, it’s a shame.
“We cannot behave in this way. I told them that this is the last time that [I will] accept this type of behaviour.
“I made clear today to the fans and to everyone that Cole Palmer is the [penalty] taker.

“If Palmer wants to give the ball to another then he can, but not in this way.
“That is a really, really sad situation that happened, and I’m not going to accept that happening again,” he added.
