Obi Visits Schools, Women Group in Kaduna, Donates 30 Million Naira

The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi continued his philanthropic journey with a visit to schools and a women’s group in Kaduna, exemplifying his commitment to education and healthcare.

His journey in Kaduna took a significant leap as he visited the Madarasatul Hidayyatul Auladi Muslimima school in Kawo and the FOMWAN Hospital in Badarawa. Dr. Mo Paul, a social activist and team lead at Free Nigeria Movement, lauded Obi’s dedication, stating, “Mr. Peter Obi’s presence at the Madarasatul Hidayyatul Auladi Muslimima school in Kawo, Kaduna, was not merely symbolic; it was a testament to his unwavering commitment to education.” Obi’s donation of 10 million Naira to the school signifies his dedication to empowering young minds.

During his visit, Obi stressed the importance of fluency in Arabic reading and writing, highlighting the students’ potential to excel in various fields. Dr. Paul emphasized that Obi’s vision extends beyond traditional educational boundaries, recognizing the value of diverse skills and knowledge. By investing in these students, Obi not only provides opportunities for personal growth but also contributes to society’s broader development.

Continuing his philanthropic endeavours, Obi donated another 10 million Naira to the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN) Hospital, aiming to enhance healthcare infrastructure in Kaduna. This substantial contribution will aid in upgrading facilities and ensuring better healthcare access for the community. Dr. Paul commended Obi’s support for the hospital’s staff and volunteers, underscoring his dedication to fostering a healthier society.
