Inter Milan secured their 20th Serie A title with a hard-fought 2-1 win over city rivals AC Milan on Monday.
The match at the San Siro witnessed Francesco Acerbi giving the Nerazzurri a first-half lead with a powerful header.
The momentum continued for Inter in the second half as Marcus Thuram found the back of the net to extend their lead. Despite a late consolation goal from Fikayo Tomori for AC Milan, it was not enough to alter the outcome.
Tempers flared in the closing stages of the Derby, resulting in red cards for Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria of AC Milan, as well as Denzel Dumfries of Inter.
