He said, “With fervent prayers for the nation and her leaders, Nigeria is on the verge of economic recovery, business growth, human capital development and cohesion. We should be more concerned with the things that unite us as a nation rather than dwelling on factors that can cause division and rancour among us. No nation can survive amidst crises and social vices.

“I urge everyone to see Nigeria as an indivisible entity that must continue to wax stronger in the collective interest of everyone. Nigeria is one of the most blessed nations on earth with numerous gifts that cut across all facets of human endeavours.”

However, he expressed gratitude to the people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond for their continuous demonstrations of love, heartfelt prayers, and unwavering support. He emphasized Ilorin’s status as a shining example for others, seamlessly bridging the gap between the northern and southern regions of the country.

Moreover, the Emir thanked Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrahman for his tireless endeavors in ensuring peace, security, and the welfare of the state’s inhabitants.

He further extended his appreciation to traditional chiefs, title holders, the Council of Ulama, clerics, various groups and associations, as well as the entire populace of Ilorin Emirate and the people of Kwara State for their steadfast love and commitment to peace and unity of the state and the nation as a whole.
