Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has called on Nigerians to refrain from praying for the success of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu but rather to actively participate in holding him accountable in his leadership.
Amadi emphasized the importance of holding Tinubu accountable for his actions and urged citizens to speak out against any shortcomings.
In a statement posted on his official X handle on Sunday, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) highlighted the need for constructive criticism and diligent oversight.
He stressed that merely wishing for Tinubu’s success without active engagement would be counterproductive.
He stated, “Stop praying that Tinubu succeeds. Do your best to make sure that the country succeeds under him.
