Suspected Fulani herdsmen have launched another attack on communities in Agatu and Apa Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Benue State, leaving many feared dead and missing.
The affected communities include Odugbeho in Agatu LGA, and Ikobi, Edikwu-Olekle, Opaha, and Obinda-Odugbo in Apa LGA.

According to reports, Tijani Ene’Ogekwu from Odugbeho and Simon Ojiji from Ikobi are among the deceased. Ene Aniheli from Ikobi sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
“The situation is dire, and we are doing our best to defend our communities,” said a youth from one of the affected areas.
