Reports indicate that Ogbaulu community in Agatu LGA of Benue State is currently facing an assault by suspected armed Fulani herdsmen.
Earlier on Friday, May 3, 2024, unknown assailants, believed to be Fulani, ambushed and killed three farmers in the same community.
The victims have been identified as Edoh Alhassan, Echewija Edoh, and Simon Emmanuel.
As of now, intense gunfire is still ongoing at Ogbaulu Market Square.
This marks the second attack in less than one week.
